In 2022 the Dragon and Lion Dance Association of BC hosted the first-ever Dragon and Lion Dance Virtual Competition, the North-West championship, in Canada.
With teams competing not only from British Columbia but across Canada. The event was open to all Dragon and Lion dance teams and registrants and followed the rules outlined by the International Dragon & Lion Dance Federation.
